The UFC heads to Atlanta this Saturday, June 14th for an exciting card filled with former champions and headlined by the return of Kamaru Usman against Joaquin Buckley.
Here are our top UFC betting picks for every fight on the main card.
Despite being one of the UFC’s great fighters, 38-year-old Kamaru Usman now finds himself at a career crossroads as he looks to bounce back from a three-fight losing streak. Meanwhile, his opponent Joaquin Buckley is headed in the other direction, on a six-fight win streak he is pushing for a title shot. With a clear advantage in speed and power, Buckley should be too strong for the former champion.
Former Strawweight champion Rose Namajunas is looking to re-establish herself among the Flyweight contenders after a shock loss last November. She faces former training partner Miranda Maverick, who enters on a four-fight winning streak. Although Maverick is dangerous, she has yet to face someone with the championship pedigree of Namajunas, who should get the job done on the scorecards.
In a fight between two known finishers, expect this bout to be one of the most exciting of the night. Shahbazyan is known for his knockout power, while Petroski has a tremendous submission game. Additionally, both fighters have been finished in their last three fights so back this fight to go under 1.5 rounds at +105 with leading UFC sportsbooks.
Former Bantamweight Champion Cody Garbrandt is on a mission to prove that he is still an elite UFC fighter, despite losses in six of his last nine fights. As he faces journeyman Raoni Barcelos, Garbrandt will be hoping to use his knockout power to get the job done. However, Barcelos enters as favourite for a reason, with his strong grappling headlining a well-rounded skillset that should get the job done.
As the biggest favourite of the card, Mansur Abdul-Malik is expected to continue the unbeaten start to his UFC career with a win over Cody Brundage. With little value in all other markets, expect this fight to be done by knockout early in either the first or second rounds.
Oumar Sy will be looking to continue his unbeaten UFC record as he faces the inconsistent Alonzo Menifield. Another fight that is expected to be one-sided, Sy has the advantage in size and reach, while his all-round skillset should be far too good. Menifield has been knocked out in his last two losses, so back Sy to do the same.
